Armonia: a bracelet made of five stones, with a light blue flower in the middle flanked by a boy and a girl.
This is a new Peroni e Parise jewel, except this time the idea isn’t Lorenzo’s: this jewel has been conceived and designed by Vicenza’s Fogazzaro High School Class 3DE’s students in order to enter the 10th edition of the Piazza Affari Tedesco contest (Unternehmen Deutsch), promoted by Rome’s Goethe Institut. This contest’s goal is to bring students closer to the working world and to practise the German language in a marketing project.
Class 3DE of the Socio-Economic branch of the Human Sciences school contacted us at the beginning of the 2021/2022 school year to offer us this collaboration. We obviously joyfully accepted, we were really curious as well because, you know, kids are always holding surprises with all their liveliness and never-ending creativity.
After having explored our factory and having attentively listened to our company’s story, the students proceeded to engage themselves in every phase of an actual company project, all of which happened speaking German. Thanks to the support of their teachers and our team they designed their jewel, followed the production process and organised the marketing plan. Here you can find the link of a wonderful brochure they created to promote the bracelet.
In March of 2022, the first pieces of Armonia were ready just on time for the Vicenzaoro event. With pride and satisfaction, the students have been able to see their jewel exhibited in our stand and hear a lot of compliments coming from visitors. Just like true aspiring entrepreneurs, they also started the sales activity. A well-deserved success!
We were very impressed by these students’ abilities, by their enthusiasm and by their entrepreneurship. However, what really touched us was the sensitivity of their souls: the bracelet holds in fact a very deep meaning, tied to our company’s values.
The five stones are of the five colours of each continent, to represent union between peoples. The light blue flower (die blaue Blume) in the middle represents the desire for a better world. The boy and the girl stand to represent the help Peroni e Parise brings to Indian and Nepalese families through the Association for Social Promotion SIDARE, of which Valeria Peroni is vice-president. The proceeds from the sales of the Harmony bracelet will in fact be devolved to SIDARE APS.
We could not have asked for more from this collaboration with aspiring entrepreneurs, it’s an experience we advise all companies to have!
We want to thank the students and the teachers of the Fogazzaro High School for this opportunity!
